KAM AND PATSY SCOTT - CAKE LOVERS
We're a niece-auntie partnership who have always enjoyed baking for our family and friends.

In 2015, Patsy set up Paradise Cakes, turning something she always loved doing into a business. Growing up, Patsy’s childhood home was always filled with the smell of freshly-baked cakes (thanks to her Scottish mother), the recipes for which we still use as the foundation for most of our bakes today. Her fondest memory is of her great grandmother’s paradise cake, and that’s how the business got its name!
In 2025, Kam joined Paradise Cakes, sharing similar nostalgic memories of weekends and holidays spent at auntie Patsy’s, combing the fridge with her cousins for a traybake offcut or two! At 13, Kam baked the lightest sponge “ever baked by a teenager” (Patsy Scott, 2007) and has been baking ever since… so you could say this partnership was always meant to be.

With two pairs of hands (and the same love for a perfectly baked sponge), we provide the Bristol community with delicious and lovingly handmade creations.

The Cakes
HANDMADE WITH LOVE
Our signature creations range from dainty 6” inch cakes for 2-6 people to generous 13" centrepieces serving up to 70, all handcrafted in a variety of flavours. Choose from vanilla, chocolate, carrot, lemon, coffee, and red velvet.
We also offer the most decadent traybakes, including our iconic paradise cake, dark chocolate brownies, white chocolate blondies, rocky road, flapjacks and millionaires shortbread.

We use the finest ingredients including free range eggs and can also bake gluten free and dairy free options. Sadly, our kitchens are not a nut free environment, so none of our cakes are suitable for those with a nut allergy.

Prices start from £22 for traybakes and £28 for cakes.​
